We provide a year-long program for our faculty, classroom teachers and educational paraprofessionals to broaden and deepen their dance, teaching, writing and analytical skills. MDD Teaching Artists benefit from up to 120 hours each year of paid learning opportunities. We also provide our teaching artists with free rehearsal space and subsidized performance opportunities to develop original dance works that stimulate and enhance their own artistic talents. Sharing their personal creative process in the classroom further enriches their teaching, benefitting our students and the fields of arts and dance education.
